What is a dryer vent inspection?

The hose, the wall cap, and as much of the in-wall run as can be seen without opening finishes are checked. A duct that cannot be followed to an outside hood is reported that way. Lint heavy enough to clean is quoted as cleaning. A damaged duct is quoted as repair.

Opening a wall to see a hidden run is not part of a standard look. If that is required, it is explained first.
