Spray Foam Insulation

Open-cell and closed-cell foams behave differently, and the roof ventilation changes with either one. An attic that was built to breathe through the soffits cannot be foamed shut at the eaves without a plan for where the air and the moisture will go. The visit is to see whether foam fits this roof, or whether blown-in insulation on the floor is the simpler job.
