What is a pellet stove inspection?

Pellet exhaust is cooler and wetter than a roaring wood fire, and the vent fills with fine ash. The inspection opens the stove enough to see the burn pot, the fans, and the vent connections, and clears the ash that is blocking them. A jammed auger or a dead igniter is a repair, written up separately.

That repair is pellet stove repair. A masonry chimney sweep does not substitute for the pellet vent.
